What do you do when a bridesmaid decides she is not going to wear the dress you have chosen?
This is something that can be a very touchy subject and you want to handle it to the best of your ability. If a bridesmaid that you have chosen decides that, after you have chosen her to be in your wedding, and you have chosen a bridesmaid dress that she is not comfortable wearing, you must sit down with her and have a conversation with her. I first would suggest to ask her why she feels that way, and truly listen to what she is saying. Do not jump to conclusions that she just doesn't like the dress, just be open to what she has to say and then once you have heard her side discuss maybe some viable options, and how you feel as well about the situation. Remember for every problem their is a solution around the corner waiting to be found. Next if you still cannot come to some type of agreement, and she ends up just not wanting to be a bridesmaid anymore find some other way for her to be a part of the wedding so she does not feel left out. She could possibly do a reading at the ceremony such as scripture, or a poem, or she can even dosomething like that at the reception. Still try to make her feel important because she is your friend/family member that is why you asked her in the first place to be your bridesmaid. Above all, I know it is your wedding day but try to work with the situations that arise and most importantly do not get stressed over any situation. Remember if you need help always consult your wedding planner for help and advice because that person will be the one to help you as well through the difficult times.
